Moorhead Community Education is offering an All-Grain Home Brewing course where you can learn how to brew beer, bottle it and then take some home.
Then click on COOKING and scroll down for the All-Grain Home Brewing course
Come and learn the all-grain method of home brewing. During the first session we will brew an all-grain batch of beer, which is a great way to take the hobby to the next level beyond extract brewing. This process allows you to make excellent beer with more flexibility and creativity with the final product. As we brew, we will discuss the brewing equipment, brewing processes, beer styles, and brewing resources. During the second session, we will bottle the fermented beer. From this class you will gain knowledge of the all-grain brewing process and take home a few bottles of your work. Ron Stroh and Tony Huseby are avid home brewers and active members of the FM homebrew club, Prairie Homebrewing Companions. Ron owns the local home brew shop Country Cannery. A valid ID is required; fee includes supplies and ingredients.
