1988 was a legendary year for craft beer. Some 56 breweries were launched, including some of our favorites like Goose Island, Deschutes, Rogue, Great Lakes, North Coast, and many more. These breweries helped shape the craft beer landscape that we so enjoy today.
In 2013, a select few of those juggernauts decided to collaborate on some special brews to mark their 25th anniversaries. Well, we stashed away those brews, and now it’s time to get our CELLARbration on! Join us on September 30th as we pour 2-year old versions of these tasty brews;
– Deschutes/Goose Island Belgian Style Ale: An array of malt, Pinot Noir and Riesling grapes aged in Muscat casks. The fruit aroma unites with Belgian yeast esters and oak for a crisp, dry and slightly tart flavor. ABV 10.9%, IBU 17
– Deschutes/Great Lakes Imperial Smoked Porter: Brewed with both roasted and smoked malt that delivers not only a subtle smoky flavor but a rich, chocolaty aroma. ABV 9%, IBU 50
– North Coast/Deschutes/Rogue Barleywine: A hoppy, citrus aroma radiates from this high gravity, pale amber barleywine. ABV 10%, IBU 70
