“Interest in growing hops continues to grow,” said Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring. “The workshop will be a great way for the department, producers and industry to work together to develop a market in North Dakota for a crop that has the potential to grow very well.” Goehring added that all producers who are interested in growing hops or increasing their hop growing capacity are encouraged to attend.
Registration starts at 9 a.m., with the workshop running from 9:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Lunch will be on the participants’ own time during a scheduled mid-day break.
