From Coteau des Prairies Lodge:
We are hosting a unique beer dinner on the evening of Thursday, May 12th. We are featuring five amazing craft beers from Indeed Brewing Company paired with a five course dinner designed and prepared by Executive Sous Chef Daniel Miles from Pittsburgh Blue (Edina, MN). Ryan Bandy, from Indeed Brewing Company will also be joining us for the evening.
At our Spring Beer Dinner, you will experience a ‘one night only’ menu complete with brewery stories and expert pairings. Ryan will introduce each of Indeed’s beers and tell us all about his experience with Indeed, a brewery which helped launch the renaissance of craft beer in the heart of the Minneapolis. Chef Daniel Miles will describe the pairings as each course is served.
We will be featuring a few of Indeed’s specialty brews as well as a couple of their flagships. For our dining guests only, Indeed Brewing is bringing a one-off firkin (cask) of Let it Ride IPA dry hopped with Mandarina and Apollo hops. We will tap it together in the old fashion, with a mallet and beer tap. We will also be drinking Indeed’s limited release Wooden Soul #6. Wooden Soul #6, like all beers in Indeed’s Wooden Soul series, is a sour, funky, wild, barrel-aged beer with incredible flavor complexity. Wooden Soul #6 is a red ale, aged in red wine barrels with lactobacillus bacteria. It’s rare and it’s delicious! Oh, and get ready for a crisp and refreshing summer ale from Indeed Brewing, its called Shenanigans.
Guests will also enjoy live music from the talented father/son duo Daniel and Kerestel Leonard from Corcoran, MN.
Course One – Let it Ride (dry hopped & cask conditioned IPA)
Aged Goat Cheese – House-made crackers, lemon-blueberry compote, microgreens
Course Two – Shenanigans (Summer Ale)
